Thomas Fisher

Thomas is the owner and founder of the Oklahoma Proactive Policing Association. He began his law enforcement career in 2009 when he was hired as a dispatcher/jailer for a small municipality. He became a police officer in 2010 for the same agency. He quickly found his passion for working narcotics after attending the National Interdiction Conference and being mentored by successful interdiction officers. No matter the size of the agency or population, Thomas has shown you can successfully intercept criminals and have a significant impact on the community. Thomas has made over 1,000 arrests and seized a large amount of narcotics since becoming a police officer. He has a strong drive to serve others and has taught over 300 police officers in police academies. Thomas is passionate about teaching others how to be successful and build their confidence. He has attended over 200 hours worth of criminal patrol/drug interdiction related courses. Thomas has received multiple rewards and recognition for his work ethic and proactive policing skills.

Josh is the other founding member of the Oklahoma Proactive Policing Association. He began his law enforcement career in 2007 when he joined the Norman Police Department as a police officer. He was a Field Training Officer (FTO) and a member of the fatality accident squad. He transferred to Broken Arrow Police Department in 2011. He became a FTO with Broken Arrow and an instructor for Law Enforcement Driver Training (LEDT) and Narcotics Identification Kits (NIK). He was a K-9 handler for Broken Arrow also. He currently works for a state agency. His dedication to training and being proactive throughout his career has resulted in the apprehension of hundreds of criminals and the seizure of large amounts of narcotics. His vigilance, interviewing skills, and awareness have assisted police officers inside and outside his agency in the recovery of thousands of dollars of stolen property. He has received multiple awards for his investigative and proactive policing skills. Josh is an expert when it comes to body language and identifying criminal behavior.
